Welcome to Little Holme – A Thatched Holiday Cottage in Lustleigh, Dartmoor, South Devon

Here at Lustleigh Cottage we provide a picturesque two-bedroom thatched holiday cottage Dartmoor which can accommodate comfortably up to four people. Little Holme dates back to the 15th century with lots of beams and a thatched roof, but includes everything needed for a modern holiday, the cottage has a big screen TV with a DVD player, fast Wi-Fi, underfloor heating in the living room and a wood burner stove for winter evenings to make the coldest night cosy.

The cottage has two bedrooms and has a modern bathroom with over-bath shower, the smart galley kitchen has a washer-drier, dishwasher, fridge freezer, oven with ceramic hob, microwave and an espresso coffee machine with an assortment of beans.

Our beautiful cottage is located in pound cottages, on the village green in the picturesque village of Lustleigh, Devon in the Dartmoor National Park.

Because of the location of the cottage, it is the perfect getaway for walks from short level walks visiting pubs and tea rooms to challenging walks on Dartmoor, the long distance Templer Way passes nearby, which links into the Southwest Coast Path. Near to the cottage is also cycle lanes which can be uses to get into both Bovey Tracey, Moreton Hampstead and beyond.

There are many activates that can be done around the area of the cottage from pony trekking, golf, fishing, swimming, climbing and bouldering, shopping and tours around historic buildings. There is annual event around the cottage as well like the May Day Holiday parade through the village passing by the cottage followed by the crowning of the May Queen, in the late summer bank holiday there is a fair with all manner of activities, most weeks there is some event in the village.

There are sports all around the village from horse racing at Newton Abbot and Exeter, first class rugby at Exeter Chiefs and village cricket on the beautiful neighbouring field.

A common question that is asked if dogs are allowed into the cottage and the answer is yes you little furry friend can come on holiday to with you all we ask is that they cannot go upstairs.
